This year, children will have their own space for the Carnaval when the first
Carnaval para los Niños Mazatlán 2015 opens on February 13 and closes February
15.
At a press conference yesterday, Director of Cultural Raúl Rico along with Mayor Felton and Jorge Luis Tirado Lizárraga of the Golden Zone committee, announced the children’s carnival will be held on calle De Las Garzas in the Golden Zone, where trampolines, music, face painting, and a food fair will be available.
Tirado Lizárraga assured media businesses in the area are all in agreement to hold the event and that sales of alcohol will only be permitted in restaurants and bars.
