Rotarians Donate $1,000US to Mazatlán Hospice

The Rotarian Club of Baker City, Oregon in the United States at the hands of its president, Kurt J. Miller, donated $1,000US to Hospice Mazatlán IAP yesterday.
The money will be used to help those with a terminal illness and few financial resources to receive Hospice care, said Hospice President Amaya Peña de Ceballos.
Administrator Adriana Carrillo Paredes explained Hospice survives on the charity of the community as the families of the patient often pay only 25 pesos a week and some cannot afford that amount.
At present Hospice is attending to 155 people in the final stages of their lives in Mazatlán.
