Students living in Mazatlán now have the ability to pay for their bus trip with prepaid cards. The use of the prepaid card will identify the passenger and remove the possibility of assaults and robbery, as the bus driver will not have cash on board.
The newspaper El Debate reported that beginning in January 2015 all passengers will begin using prepaid cards.
