Canadian Greg Nelson will be bungee jumping for charity in November or December this year when he attempts capture the world record by jumping from the spectacular Baluarte bridge on the Mazatlán-Durango highway.
In an act that will benefit the world association Save the Children Mexico, Nelson hopes to break the world platform bungee jumping record of 300 meters by dropping 370 meters from the bridge.
Nelson is considered an international bungee jumping professional who began the sport at the age of 21 and has 67 jumps to his name. His personal record is a 220 meter jump in Switzerland.
