Yesterday Mazatlán’s municipal water department, Jumapam, announced that beginning today through August 6 it would waive all penalties and fines imposed on delinquent water bills.
A spokesperson for Jumapam said that customers who reached agreements with Jumapam on their delinquent water bills before February 5 should contact Jumapam to take advantage of the new program.
