Actors Brendan Fraser and Ray Liotta filming the western series “Texas Rising” in Durango took advantage of the proximity of Mazatlán via the Mazatlán-Durango highway this past weekend to visit the port.
They were found by fans at El Fish Market restaurant where the actors obligingly signed autographs and posed for photos which appeared instantaneously on local social network sites.
The “Texas Rising” four-part series recreates the 1836 war between Mexico and the United States in which Sam Houston fought against Santa Anna. Nine thousand extras and 5,000 horses are being used during the filming. (from Noroeste)
