“Christina” Become Category IV Hurricane

CristinaThe National Hurricane Center (NHC) in its latest news update on Hurricane Christina said Christina is now a Category 4. However, it indicated that Hurricane Christina will lose intensity later today.
David Korenfeld, Director of The National Water Commission (Conagua), said Christina is located 400 miles southwest of Manzanillo, moving west-northwest at 13 kilometers per hour.
Heavy rains are reported in Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán and Guerrero.The National Civil Protection System said that the states of Sinaloa and México could expect rainfall, as well.
The NHC said in its statement “Christina continues to rapidly intensify, but weakening is forecast to begin tonight.”
