Hot in Mazatlán and Getting Hotter

The maximum temperature in Mazatlán registered 33ºC producing a heat index of 42ºC between noon and 3pm.
Hugo Nordahl Valez, head of the Conagua Meteorological Service, said the increase in temperature was due to hurricane Amanda in the Pacific Ocean, explaining each time there is a natural phenomenon of this type the temperatures become unstable.
The high temperatures, he warned, will climb further as the summer approaches.
