Servicios Navales e Industriales S.A. de C.V. has become the second Mazatlán
shipbuilding company to construct two tug boats for Petróleos Mexicanos
(Pemex).
Mario Uribe Fenollosa, president of SENI, advised yesterday that the contract had been signed by the Secretary of the Navy on Thursday in Mexico City after two years of intense negotiations.
The construction of the two boats will generate 150 direct jobs and will demonstrate to the industry and federal government the port´s capacity in boat building, said Uribe Fenollosa.
