Eduardo Murra Marcos, Chief Executive Officer of Cimaco, said that
the department store, which opened in Mazatlán three months ago, will be
opening a gourmet restaurant in the store this coming May. He noted
that the company will invest 20 million pesos ($1.5 million) in the
construction of the new restaurant.
The CEO noted that sales of Mazatlán store have been good, since its opening.
Eduardo Murra said that the cities of Culiacán and Los Mochis have contact the company about building a Cimaco store, but that is two or three years away.
Cimaco invested 120 million pesos ($9 million) in the construction of the Mazatlán store, which created 190 jobs. The new restaurant is expected to add 40 to that number.
